Can someone explain to me the differences between trabeculothecal, septothecal & parathecal, as applied to the structure of the corallite walls of Merulinid Hard Corals?
Certainly not something I’m familiar with, but a bit of searching turned up these glossary pages from the Neogene Marine Biota of Tropical America, which may be useful as they come with photos too. Although it looks like understanding it clearly would involve looking up a few more terms…
