I have a ton of links to various iNat resources on my profile so I don’t forget them.
Here’s what’s there so far (note, often you’ll need to replace a portion of the URL with your username, or a project name/place ID, or a species name/ID number):
- iNat’s extended search urls
- Multiple specific taxa on a single map
- Check to see if you’re a maverick - replace with your user name
- Heatmap of observations
- Heatmap for projects - replace with relevant project name
- Heatmap for taxon - replace taxon_id= with appropriate taxon id number
- Year in review
- Wiki of iNat features
- Advanced URL options made easier - GitHub link in the description
- Identifications viewed on the map rather than as a list
- Different species ranges in different colors - replace the taxa ID with relevant ones
- Wiki of published papers using iNat data
- Mapping on other platforms using iNat info and api
- Computer Vision Demo page
- Unobserved species by observer in a taxa in a place
Variables: Life List, Taxon_id, Place_id, View=Unobserved - Observation Comparison Tool - experimental, may disappear without warning
- Observations ranked by ‘least observed on iNat’
- Species ranked by number observed, least to greatest - note replace ‘project_id=’ with ‘place-id=’ and the place number for places. Other API modifications are also possible.
- List of unknown observations that need basic identification
- FAQ on citing iNat as a source
