Step 1: In my daily notification emails, I am not receiving all of the observations that are actually being uploaded to iNaturalist that fit under the places/taxa that I have followed and requested for email updates. This has been going on for at least a few weeks (noticed as volume of observations increased during summer months)
Step 2: For example, in the first screenshot you can see 9 observations listed for Sauk Co. and 36 observations from user goatprairie in the 21 July email update.
Step 3: The second screenshot shows that in actuality user goatprairie uploaded 150 observations (not 36) on 20 July (filter is set for date added = 20 July 2025. These should all have been included in the July 21 email update. Of note, they are almost all from Sauk Co. and many taxa to which I also subscribe to from that place. These are not showing up in the email updates under the goatprairie user section, nor the Sauk County section.
Step 4: The third and fourth screenshots from my Dashboard show additional updates of taxa from places that I follow and should get notifications from that did not show up in the daily email update.
Step 5: Screenshots 5, 6, 7 show taxa/places/people I subscribe to and settings showing that I should be getting email updates for these items.
I saw one comment here https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/subscriptions-not-showing-up-in-dashboard-or-email-notifications/27376/2 about following taxa being descended from a selected taxa, but I do not think that is my issue here.
(I am also clicking on the ‘View Entire Message’ link at the bottom of the initial email so that is not the issue either)
