Recently i’ve been obsessing over the Alypia family of moths and can’t stop thinking about them. It’s gotten so bad that I just /had/ to draw them.
Alypia Langtoni, Alypia octomaculata, Alypia Wittifeldii
These are only three of my personal favorites. I wanted to know if anyone else had this happen to them before, maybe not to the extent of creating art. But just thinking about a certain taxon to an extent. Knowing the little differences to tell between the species just makes me so happy for some reason!
