Description of problem: Failing to populate host plant id while uploading observation with project “Host plants for lepdoptera of India”

Step 1: From mobile select a photo and share to inaturalist

Step 2: in What did you see, enter the butterfly name - auto populated

Step 3: click on Add to projects and select “Host plants for Lepidoptera of India”
step 4: It asks for Jost plant id: enter say Yellow Alder - it shows two plants - select Yellow Alder
=> it hangs here showing “loading… taxon Name”
seems its hanging here and waits forever here.
Have been seeing it since few months.

I can replicate, but I do note that if I tap on the check mark to save it to the project and upload the observation, the correct host plant is added to the obs field when I look at the observation on the website. So it seems like more of a display issue than the correct taxon not being chosen. Are you seeing that too?

Tony, thanks for following up. I tried doing the same (referring to the same Lepidoptera-related project above). I can confirm that an observation added from the app shows up in the project as expected, but on the app the ‘taxon name’ remains stuck at ‘loading’.
