I regularly receive hundreds of notifications among which sometime there remain some comments tagged to me. More often than not, these tagged comments gets buried in the jungle of normal notifications relating to agreed IDs. Is there any method by which I can search only the comments in which I’m tagged?
Currently not. The best thing to do is go to your settings and disable notifications for confirming IDs. It dramatically cuts down the noise and makes tags easier to find.
Yes. @pisum has built us a tool to use - while we wait for iNat to enable management of Notifications

The tool only gives notifications about IDs, and unfortunately not tagged comments.
from the instructions on that page:
Mentions on observations you are not following can be returned only if you explicitly set observations_by = following (others)
I use https://www.inaturalist.org/comments?utf8=✓&q=arboretum_amy&commit=Search (change my name to yours) but it loads very slowly and it only returns @'s that are in individual comments, not ones in text attached to IDs.
The last update from @tiwane was 3 years ago.
Still hoping for a more recent progress update?
Thank you. I agree that it definitely cuts down the noise but in some cases, it might be useful to see the comments attached to the confirming IDs. Will notifications relating to such supporting IDs show up?
Tried this with my name and it worked well but with the exceptions already mentioned by you. Still, this helps to a great extent. Thanks a lot.
