What funny iNat observations have you seen? And do you think intentionally funny observations have any value? The funniest ones I have seen are many of the homo sapiens observations and the ones where a person is holding nettles or poision oak/ivy/sumac

I always imagine grackles as characters from a Goodfellas movie: https://inaturalist.ca/observations/73457559 One of the most characterful bird species out there, can’t be bothered to fly around too much and always a bit grumpy :grinning:

Yes, but please only add observations to it where the content of the sign actually makes some sort of sense in context. It’s not just for any organism on any signs.

I was introduced to the idea that you could name unique observations in Obs. 114232131 , so I found it amusing when one of mine was named in Obs. 155278649 .

Had this guy glaring at us while we swam in a rock pool in the mountains. The “who the hell are these people and why the hell are they in my pool” is almost tangible https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/158667763
