Step 1: Go to https://inaturalist.nz/taxa/196283-Acar

Step 2: On the tab, scroll down to the Wikipedia page which is about food

“… Acar is a type of vegetable pickle of Maritime Southeast Asia, most prevalent in Indonesia,[5] Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. It is a localised version of Indian achar. It is known as atjar in Dutch cuisine, derived from Indonesian acar.[6] Acar is usually prepared in bulk as it may easily be stored in a well-sealed glass jar in refrigerator for a week, and served as the condiment for any meals.[3]…”

Thanks for notifying about this. This isn’t really a bug per se, just the auto-description routing to the wrong article because there are multiple ‘Acar’ articles on Wikipedia. Simple curation fix by specifying that the linked article should be ‘Acar (bivalve)’, which I’ve done now.

Heads up for future, best way to report on these is to flag the taxon directly; head to https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/196283-Acar, and then use the curation button at the top right of the map.

Thanks again, will close now that it’s resolved :)
