How can I see my obscured observations for a specific area?

I am a volunteer for a local park. They created a new wetlands a few years ago. I have been generally surveying the area to see what has appeared there and specifically keeping track of the Odonata species.

I use the rectangle boundary tool for getting the observations for that area rather than creating a new Place. It works well except that, I can’t see my obscured observations. Note that these are automatically obscured because they are sensitive species. I did not obscure them.

So, how can I see those observations so that I can create a list for a report?

  1. I use the rectangle boundary tool on the map to “lasso” that area.
  2. I really like that I can filter down the results to Species using that tab, and that I can see the number of observations - which gives an idea of frequency of a species.
  3. (Arg!) But, how to I include my obscured observations?

Since they are my obscured observations, why can’t they be visible on the Map and then the List page?

I understand that the actual location markers appear in the individual observation maps, but how can I get a list of them for an area? Do I need to create a Place?

I have searched the Forums for this, but I can’t find a good answer.

I wish this was a native feature though, seems like it’s been something people have wanted for a while but that linked tool works good too.
