How do I create a taxa alert?

New to iNaturalist & the forum; had a basic question - how does one create an observation alert for a given species in a given geographic location; for example; wood frog sightings in Ohio?

Hi Andorjkiss, you can subscribe to a taxon in a place from your home page. On the right had side there is a section called “Subscriptions”, with “Subscribe to a Taxon” and “Subscribe to a Place” options. If you click on “Subscribe to a Place” you can choose both the taxon and the place.

I think you meant to say “If you click on “Subscribe to a Place” you can choose both the taxon and the place.”
