How to delete improperly uploaded project?

Some months ago I tried to create a project and it got created incorrectly somehow, so that it is unuseable. No problem, I just tried again and it worked fine the second time. But how do I delete this faulty project? It never seems to upload fully and I don’t have any control even though I’m the one who created it.

what happens if you go to https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/liberty-hill-observations/edit

If I do that, I just get the " Welcome to Projects!" main screen. Which is completely bizarre because the URL doesn’t change, the URL still says “https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/liberty-hill-observations/edit” like you typed in.

I have no solution then. I will note though that if I search for the project name, ‘Liberty Hill Observations’, nothing comes up in the search results, so it seems like other than clicking your direct link, the project isn’t findable. In that case, I’d maybe just leave it since it’s not doing any harm (eg turning up when people search for other projects)

you could try the method in this post: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/creating-collection-project-with-invalid-date-input-fails-unexpectedly-can-produce-in-limbo-project/33990/8

Hmmm…not sure what I did wrong, but my attempt to follow those instructions resulted in this error message:

curl: (35) schannel: next InitializeSecurityContext failed: Unknown error (0x80092012) - The revocation function was unable to check revocation for the certificate.

according to this, you may need to turn off or adjust your antivirus program: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/54938026/ddg#56486639
