How to include obscured observations in a project?

I would like a way to easily see all of the observations made around my house and surrounding forests. So, I created a project and added the people who have made observations there.

However, we have decided to set the geoprivacy for these observations to Obscured, because otherwise anyone would be able to see exactly where I live. That means that hardly any observations are being added to the project, presumably because the obscured location is being used instead of the actual location.

Is there a way around this, or am I going about this wrong?

One option is to create a traditional project to which you and the other participating users add your observations manually. If you have a lot of observations, this may be less feasible.

I made a traditional project for my yard project so that I could obscure all the observations

With traditional projects, the observations are added manually rather than automatically included based on location (or other criteria). When uploading observations on the website, you can select all the observations you are about to upload and add them all to the project at once. For observations already uploaded, you can use the batch edit feature to add them all to the project at once. I wrote more detailed instructions in this journal: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/watson-preserve/journal/31936-adding-observations-to-projects
