How to remove observation field

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):

Step 1: I made an observation yesterday, which I suspected was of an insect larva. Today, though, I decided it was instead a millipede. But the field “insect life stage” is still there, saying larva.

Step 2: I don’t see any way to delete the field.

click the observation field name, ie the bolded text, and then click delete when the popup appears

in the meantime I’ve moved this to general and amended the title since this isn’t a bug
(I will change back if my solution does not work for you)

Ahhh, okay, thanks, yes, that worked. I was looking for a way to do it from the edit page, not the main observation page.
