I still get the question if i want to upload, how to get rid of it ?
it was never there

It is in the new iNat app

I don’t understand the question. Can you please rephrase?

If i share photos to the inat app there popup a question
Do you wnat to share
it was never there and i want as less questions as possible
To be honest i think the app has far to many opitions. It competitors first give an ID and than you decide what to do.

sharing screenshots of what you are seeing would help facilitate communication

Compared to its competitors this app is

I think I understand. You are saying that when you are putting photos into the iNaturalist app, it is asking you if you want to upload them, and that this is a new popup, which you don’t like, because it is too complicated? And you are further pointing out that competing app give you a suggested ID before asking any questions?

I can’t really speak to why the app would be asking you a different question than it did before. Which app are you using? Android? iPhone?

But if you want a simpler experience with fewer options, you could try the Seek by iNaturalist app. It is designed specifically to be simpler and to offer Computer Vision IDs as soon as you point the camera at an organism.

This is a sentence fragment. What do you mean here?

You can’t, it will appear every time you share photos to iNaturalist.

At least on my phone (iPhone), you can go into the “Apps” settings menu and say that you always want iNaturalist to have access to your Photo Library. @ahospers I’m not sure what kind of phone you have, but you might want to check your phone’s general settings

He didn’t say, but I suspect @ahospers is starting in the Photos app, selecting a photo (or photos), then choosing to share it to iNaturalist. That should be the only time you see the question ahospers shared.

Other websites have apps you just accept the soluton by Ai/.computervison and you are ready.

A and now you have a very remarkble (in my opion unnescary and confusing and irritating) workflow which is even added with an additional and not nessary stap. last 8 years it was never there and i was very happy.
Why adding this step?
How te get rid of this step

Why not allow this for the next photos ?

Much more smarte was to add an ANNULEREN button or just not upload.
In the old iphone app it was more initituief

I always get the idea that the improvements are compensated by strange other decisions which were absent in the previous years.
