ID number variation, but it doesn't change if I add identifications

Description of problem: When I look for the Common Octopus (Octopus vulgaris) in the app on the normal filtering I have a number of IDs for it (2706), BUT, when I set the filter on random, I have more IDs (2723). Even though I keep IDing the numbers stay the same.

Step 1: Look for Octopus vulgaris on the Explore feature.

Step 2: Check the IDers and my number of IDs.

Step 3: Do the same but with the Random (Descending) filter.

Is it a bug or another thing I don’t know about?

I don’tknow if it counts, but here are the filtering options I use:

Apparently, it is working again…
