Identifying on Naturalist: How you can help! - will a recording be available?

Information about this webinar has been posted on iNaturalist. I would like to feel confident enough to identify even with the minimal knowledge I have. As this webinar is at 3.30 am Australia time does anyone know if it will be available to view when I am awake?

do you mind sharing a link which provides more information about this webinar?

I’m the person doing the webinar. It will be recorded and available on our YouTube channel like all of our other webinars are.

I’m also changing the title of this topic so that it’s specific to the question being asked.

@Glassmith I am closer to AUS time than EST myself even though I’m in NA, so I’m really excited to see this recording, too.

Not for everyone – I don’t see it, for example. I assume that the message has been set to be shown only for users with their language set to English (I use the German interface, for convenience reasons, not for lack of English competence) or users with few IDs (I have quite a lot and am thus presumably not the target audience for this webinar).

I only see the banner link when I am logged out.

It’s set to be displayed for users with few IDs.

Which makes sense if you think about it – they’re the ones who need encouragement and guidance to make more IDs. Whereas those with many IDs probably already have a good handle on what to do, and those with no IDs first need to be persuaded to take an interest.

I expected this but changing language did not work… and this topic is not 24 hours old…

Here’s a YouTube link for the recorded webinar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln2z-9x2nmA

A very good seminar, with a lot to squeeze into one hour, Tony!

I think those of us from the forum (not your target audience of beginners) may have skewed the poll results a bit. Like the last question:

What will you commit to trying today?

The choices were 3, 5, 10 or 20 identifications. And since I’d already done more than that, this morning…

Have dipped in and out. Is there a link to just the slides ?

You had a shout-out, Diana! I hope you noticed that.

Diana - plants in Africa. No pressure then  Dipped in and tripped over Should I agree with Diana then I did watch the whole webinar. Not what I expected from a random - should I watch this, now ?

I didn’t register - I intended to watch later. Thank you - I prefer the slideshow.
