ID's not updating/refreshing observations

Upon making an ID that disagrees with another ID, the observation doesn’t refresh/update itself.

Example should be displaying as *Acer sp.", but is stuck on an earlier ID.

Using latest Firefox for MacOS on iNaturalist website.

not a bug. if you want more information, search for “opt out” in the forum.

This “feature” strikes me as almost entirely counter-intuitive to the whole point of iNaturalist.
