I think I was looking for the taxonomic tree to also be filtered. The filter above the observations is useful, but it doesn’t filter the left of the screen, as all of my observations, including those outside of the filtered area, still show up in that tree.

Is there a way to see a filtered taxonomic tree from the “explore” page? When learning about taxonomic groups that are new to me, I like to filter by region and then look at the “species” tab to familiarize myself with some examples I’m likely to see in my area. For groups that have many subgroups (Aculeata for instance), it would be very helpful to see how they’re all related without sifting through all the species that haven’t been observed near me.
