Are you referring to the Calendar page? If so, that’s hilarious.
Yes but it was pretty fun finding it out tbh - just realized the misspelling lol
After a weekend trip to Zion NP (Utah, USA), featuring unique plants like https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/247243879
Impressive! That’s insane. I’m newer, but I just broke 300 Observations recently and I’m four away from 350. (And 200 IDs.)
Managed to get 100k annotations:
I use the identification screen with shortcuts as proposed in the Annotation Sunday thread: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/annotation-sunday/55342/5
The first 50k I added in 3 years and the last 50k in 3 weeks.
Thanks @lappelbaum for sharing this.
Fifty thousand annotations in three weeks?!?!!
I salute your extraordinary dedication!
@sheriff_woody_pct doesn’t seem to be active in the forums but he passed 10,000 plant species observations last week barely beating @botaneek for most plant species observed globally.
Congrats to both, that’s an amazing number of species.
I’m catching up on uploads from the summer and just crossed 2000 observations!
Nice chunk of Cape fynbos for both of them!
botaneek is one of the authors of my field guide, and the sheriff visited Cape Town.
Plants on the Cape Peninsula 618 vs. 229 (728 for me ;~)
Another book is out! This time I contributed one image of an uncommon butterfly which I iNatted, and got a free copy.
My book collection is increasing thanks to iNaturalist!

I hit 15000 IDs today, which also happens to be almost exactly 2.5x my observations.
Thanks for your help
Very much appreciated
I have made 46 observations, 39 species, and 165 identifications as a New inaturalist.
now I’m almost at 3,000 observations!
Welcome to iNat!!
