Thanks!
I finally cracked 1000 species after 3 years and I’m just 58 observations away from 2000 now. The latest species just happened to be a lifer macro moth that turned up a couple of days after I packed away the moth trap for the year. Moth numbers have been so low this year that I’d given up trying.
just broke 3000 obs yesterday
Better fix them!
Got my 1,000th observation today.
And here is that milestone observation, tentatively identified as Red Beard Lichen:
It stood out to me because I normally associate beard lichens (Usnea) with a blue-gray color, so reddish-brown was unexpected.
Congratulations on reaching 5,000! If your goal was to have the same number of identifications as your number of observations, then “hit the nail on the head” is appropriate.
Awesome! Congrats!
Hurray! I finally got to a number of IDs greater than my number of Observations.
Since it’s in the mere thousands, not tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands, like some uber-Identifiers, I won’t post a screenshot.
Next up, I aim to at least double that. Stay tuned…
More is more ;~) bring us your well earned screenshot
That’s a lot of photos and time to identify!
I hit 1500 observations recently! That was pretty exciting.
I made an observation from last night that was the first iNat record of Neophisma fulvipuncta at my house.
Nice!! Congrats!!
I hit 100 bird species on iNat!
I have crazy amount of backlog so I should hit 300 next year…
One month of holiday in Thailand resulted in 838 observations of more than 400 species. Some of them first observations in Thailand, and some a little outside their current observation range.
Took me a couple of days to go through all of the photos, select them, annotate them etc. But it is done now. Waiting for many ids to come!
