iNaturalist iPhone app not syncing with website, and/or posting?

I was at the Timberlake meetup this weekend, and decided to use the occasion to test out several observations on iNat Next. I put them in while we were stopped for gas and a rest stop on the drive home.

We have been home for over 5 hours; on Next they’re showing up but on the webpage they are not showing up at all. Is there a long delay? Or something I’m missing? I’d logged in a deceased owlet and a darter and a velvet ant, but on the website I can’t find them at all. I wanted to add a better, actual camera observation to them.

(I’ve also updated the title as there’s currently no app called “iNaturalist Next” - it’s now just “iNaturalist”)

I found a manual sync option while doing the screenshot and that worked. Does it just not auto sync at all now?

Correct, it no longer auto syncs. When you make an observation you have the option to upload now or save. If you don’t choose upload now, the obseration is saved in your queue and you can then choose to sync observations individually or at all at once.
