Hello. I have just joined a project ‘Invasive Species in the UK’, essentially so that I can upload records of few-flowered leek (Allium paradoxum), which is running rampant in the Scottish Borders. It appear that this species is not one of the 50 listed - how can I request it is?
I see that the project says it is designed…
“To track invasive species in the UK, with reference to both the legally prohibited, Defra-listed species of special concern, and others identified as invasive by the Non-Native Species Secretariat”
You could write to the person who set up the project, (https://www.inaturalist.org/people/katherine_jane)
But she may feel that Allium paradoxum falls outside the scope of the project as she had conceived it.
