"introduced" designation oddity

Description of problem :

I’ve included two screenshots, both of the same organism ( Lithobius forficatus) and both at the same URL. One is instance lists it as “Introduced” and one doesn’t.

I uploaded a photo, which CV suggested was L. forficatus. I went to that page, which indicated the species is introduced.

I then wanted to check on similar species, so clicked on the thumbnail for * Lithobius variegatus*. After looking at that page, I hit the back button to return to forficatus. And upon arriving back at the forficatus page, I noticed it no longer had the "Introduced* designation.

I went to the US Check List page:

I noticed that it had been updated by Site Admins today. Maybe there’s an update that hasn’t fully percolated through the system that’s causing this? I was able to replicated it a few times.

Anyway, just curious. :-)

I wanted to add that I observe issues with the “introduced” designation also.
When I visit my observations and list by species, some are marked as introduced. When I hover over them, I see “Introduced in Panama” for Mantis religiosa, and “Introduced in North America” for others.
The point is, I have observed those taxa only in their native range in Europe. I’ve been to Panama, but never to North America.

I recently wanted to make a bug report about it, but I didn’t know whether it really is a bug. Anyway, I did some testing and I’ve found this:
If you view observations globally or with a custom boundary drawn via the tools in the map view, the captive/introduced status on the species view in explore seems to be always for your locale.
If you set either the place or the location filter to a specific place or location, it will show the status of that taxon there.

It’s interesting to see the ways in which native/introduced status is “fragile” - I wonder if it’s just an inevitable consequence of the flexibility required to calculate the status under so many possible conditions.
