Introduced status not applying to varieties

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):
Varieties of an introduced taxon (Euphorbia milii) is not considered as introduced.

I’m not sure the system has been designed to automatically apply an establishment means to any infraspecific taxa.

I added the variety to the place checklist, marked it as introduced, and it’s showing up as introduced on that observation now.

I can definitely replicate on our test server. Whether or not it’s intentional I’m not sure, I’ll ask.
