IOS won't filter my searches

Platform (Android, iOS, Website): IOS

App version number, if a mobile app issue (shown under Settings or About): version 3.2.2

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.) The search option isn’t filtering anything. Example, I was trying to find Lepidoptera posted by me but it still just showed me every observation posted.Doesn’t work for ANY search

Step 1: Open mobile app

Step 2: open explore

Step 3: click magnifying glass to search,

Step 4: sorting by species or by user in any form

I’m using iOS app, searched Lepidoptera, and am able to see searches for all users/near me, and separately for my observations. Also just in case you wondered, I don’t think you can search for observations by other specific users on iOS app.

You’re correct it’s working again for me now. I don’t know why it had been happening the past two days to me. I guess it fixed itself

I tried this out a few times today and could sometimes replicate (I think - it would be helpful if you shared screenshots), but not consistently.

You can definitely search the map area for observations made by another user, eg:

How can I search by specific user?

  1. Tap on magnifying glass
  2. Type in the username of the account and tap on "Find people named “[username you entered]”

As I can’t replicate this consistently I’m going to close for now.
