Is there a way to exclude my observations from a search?

So basically, I’m going through all the “Needs ID” plant observations in my city and want to add ID’s to all of them. The problem is, when I go to “Explore” and click search observations for my city, I’m seeing alot of my own observations and having to do alot of scrolling, as I have 3000+ observations alone in my city. Is there any way to filter out my own observations so I can only see observations from other users ?

Have you used the Identify page? That’s the tool that’s designed for quickly adding IDs to other users’ observations. See https://help.inaturalist.org/en/support/solutions/articles/151000171681-how-to-use-the-identify-page

By default it doesn’t show observations you have reviewed (any obseration you’ve added an ID to counts as “reviewed”). Use the keyboard shortcuts as much as possible - may take a moment to learn but they make things fast.

(But if you did want to use Explore, you can exclude your own observations by adding the following string of text to the end of the URL for your search in Explore:

&not_user_id=scion882

Tip. Using the Identify app, when you encounter an observation that you can’t (or won’t) ID, press “R” to mark it “Reviewed”. In that way, you won’t see it again (by default).

I think you can also click on “Filters” in the Explore tab then at the bottom of that dropdown, click “More Filters”. If I do that, I see an option for “Reviewed” and I can select “Any”, “Yes”, or “No”.

For me it works on my laptop computer as well as the mobile version of the website if I’m using my phone. I don’t see a way to do it on the app though.

On the mobile app, I do see an option if you go to the “Explore” tab, then click on the symbol on the top right (I don’t know what the symbol is called but it looks like three broken lines parallel to each other). Click on that symbol for the filter options and you can check “Show only my observations” or “Hide my observations”.

Use the search field to read up on “search URL”s. It answers all questions you have, including excluding yourself.
But I do that for you out of my head.

You enter your name in the name field (and press enter) and add “not_” infront of userID part in the URL. Done

Excluding myself:
