Is there an API to present "What did you see?" taxon suggestion list for previous observation(s)?

I’d like to take iNaturalist’s suggestions and present them in a different program (PlantID.net) that offers rich information about each taxon.

If I’m logged into iNaturalist and supply the observation ID, is there a way to get this information from an API?
