the markdown version of h5 is five hashes and a space at the beginning of the block. iNaturalist’s interpreter seems to also accept five hashes without the space, but i think this is technically incorrect, and you probably should always include the space.

you can do it as a workaround. it’s just an ugly / inelegant workaround. (it’s ultimately up to you whether it’s worth the effort to implement this kind of workaround though.)
