By “bug” we mean that something is not working the way it is intended to.
What you reported here is how the software is intended to work, thus it’s not a bug - that’s what people are trying to tell you. If you think the software should work differently, then the correct course of action is to make a feature request or comment on an existing one that addresses the issue.
Since this isn’t a bug, I’m going to close this bug report.
