Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):
Step 1: Because of my past comments, I am subscribed to @kueda’s journal entry, “Rest In Peace, Greg” (January 31, 2021). When I get a notification of a new comment on that post, an extensive segment of all comments is included in the notification, requiring a long scrolling effort to see just the latest comment of which I am being notified. The screen capture above only includes about 1/10th of the entire text showing up in my notification.
Step 2: There’s even a “Show More …” button if I wanted to see all the comments in this notification.
Step 3: The “Show Post” button only sends me to the top of @kueda’s journal post, not to the new comment.
It would seem appropriate for the notification to only include the latest comment and for the “Show Post” button to send me to that comment, rather than to the top of the journal entry.
Is this just a quirk because of the vast extent of comments on that journal entry?
