Make area around links in the top nav bar clickable (e.g. Explore, Your Observations)

Platform: webpage
URLs: https://www.inaturalist.org/home

Description of need:
Currently, clicking the top ‘buttons’ (e.g. explore, your observations, community…) is quite tricky, because you really need to click exactly on the corresponding hyperlinked text. They currently don’t behave as real buttons, in contrast to the other buttons on the INat site (e.g. home, profile, observations, all updates…).

Feature request details:
Change the top row links to real buttons. This would increase the ease of use of the website

As my ability to move the mouse with great accuracy declines, I find many of the buttons on iNaturalist too small.

I’ve made a github issue for this: https://github.com/inaturalist/inaturalist/issues/4417

However, keep in mind that the header is fussy (for example, it needs to be responsive to window width) and it’s really important and appears on basially every page, so making this functional isn’t as straightforward as it might seem.

This has been implemented, looking good to me and I tried a few different languages.
