Same here. It only took my computer 6 seconds to load Gerald but it nonetheless refuses to allow me to add (of course to be immediately followed by my downvote) any new annotations or comments.
Random fact: Gerald sometimes feels like an armadillo, moo.
Edit: I just figured out I can still see the comments in the iNat email.
