I was messing around with the new app and overall I like it. Different than the original and took a few to figure where everything was, but its not like there is a lot here to figure out by clicking around.
I however did not see any way to see/send messages, am I missing it or is this going to be added to this version of the app?
The plan is to add messaging functionality. But it may not be available at “hard launch”.

@tiwane will that messaging functionality include reading messages received, or will it still be necessary to go to the desktop version to read such mail?
Yes, it should be basically fully functional, as on the current Android app.
