! Moths ! Come Towards The Light

If I was forced to chose two families of moths, it would be the plume moths and the clearwing moths.

Im in Botswana and like taking pics of the very tiny moths. The problems is that so few get identified but some ar extremely beautiful !

Please, please can anyone assist in identifying the tiny moths of southern Africa and Botswana even if it is only to family level ?

Campground restrooms are where I got started finding moths. I do an external circuit of any lit buildings last thing in the evening, then again in the morning, with attention paid to the ground along the bottom of exterior walls. For some reason, I find Haploa moths most often at ground level under lights in daytime.

I talk about what I’m doing rather than sneaking around, and if I remember I’ll mention it to the campground owners/staff and show off pictures. Everybody’s been pretty positive about it.
