Been watching this Chrysalis for a few weeks. Our little friend finally came out yesterday around 11 am. Unfortunately it’s been cold in LA. I checked this morning and it’s still by the Chrysalis - is this normal?
I put some banana purée next to it and actually ate it! Which makes me think it’s healthy but there’s something off about how it hasn’t left…or am I wrong? I don’t know a lot about butterfly’s to be honest.
*i just learned they play dead?!? And can live in cold temps? Maybe I’m just being a worrywart.
