My map view of my obscured and non-obscured observations:

Screenshots of what you are seeing:
Eight obscured observations showing in randomised locations:
One dummy-obscured observation opened to show the correct map location:
Description of problem: When I want to find my obscured observations again, map view doesn’t show them in the correct location. Rather, it shows me the randomised location. Only if I open an individual obscured observation do I see the correct location. (Presumably staff can test the system in such a way that mimics my view: this is obviously a matter of what I see in my own account, not what an outside observer sees.)
Step 1: Type “Amyema lucasii” in search bar and select “View Observations”. Under “More Filters”, enter my username (afdexter) and update the search.
Step 2: Choose Map view and zoom in to the area of observations. I have ten observations, of which eight are obscured (I have obscured one as a dummy case here to make the point without revealing observations that I want to keep obscured). Those eight observations show on the map at the randomised locations, making it harder for me to find the plants in the field again for repeat observations.
Step 3: Open an individual obscured observation and look at the map view. The observation now shows in its correct location, but I can’t access this view from the map, which is where I need it while moving around in the field.
