Description of problem: Plumeria is perhaps the most popularly cultivated genus in Hawaii, yet no observations of that genus appear for the entire state.

Step 1: Type “Plumeria” under Search and select the genus.

Step 2: Type “Hawaii” under Location and select the state.

Step 3: The state of Hawaii seems to not exist at all when viewing observations of this genus.

There are 3,133 Plumeria observations in Hawaii. They don’t show up on your search because they are all marked as cultivated and are therefore treated as Casual observations. A search including Casual shows them:

Thank you! I didn’t realize the search was selecting only Verifiable observations.
