Observation Date Missing - Observer reports it is there

Step 2: See whether you can see an observation date.

Step 3: See comments to note different user perspectives.

I don’t see a date, but I think to properly diagnose this we’d need a screenshot from the observer as well.

Is it necessary to manually update the observation in the app after adding a date if auto-sync is turned off?

Yes, any changes need to be synced, and if auto-sync is off, you need to manually sync

This reminds me on the observation of the fern Paragymnopteris marantae in Bulgaria, where the user told me at pm, that the date was there, the 4th of June 2021. All obss. added on 26.07.2021 by the same person, are missing dates. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/88707874

If you go to the JSON of the observation in the OP (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/92798927.json), you see null for observed_on and observed_on_string.

Same for the observation @erwin_pteridophilos posted.
