Hello…new member here with a search question. Can searches on Observations be filtered by date of observations? For example, when I bring up one of my Observations it displays a map with other observations of the same species…can this be filtered by date?

Yes. Assuming, you’re using iNat on the website, you can search for any observations in the explore tab. In the filter box, there are multiple different options for filtering by date (either exact, a range, or specific months). You can additionally narrow it down further to a specific place or a specific user too, if you want.
Sounds like the map you are referencing is the one that appears on the page of the observation. I don’t think you can change what observations are displayed in there, as it is meant to give an overview of the geographical range the organism was found in.
