Observation only shown when logged-in

Description of problem:

Hopefully this is just a user issue! One of my observations (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/123748296) does not show up on my observations page when logged out, but does when logged in.

As far as I can tell, it is in no way marked as private or hidden: geoprivacy set to Open, and I wouldn’t think diamondbacks would be an obscured taxon. What am I missing?

this is more of a data issue than a bug. the system is working as designed.

Thanks-- I edited the observation, re-entered my location and saved, and now it appears in the list to my non-logged-in tester. :) Not sure what happened the first time, but the fix was easy enough.

EDIT: Actually, I take that back-- the problem persists, but it depends upon which listing page you look at. Why is the listing here (yes rattlesnake):

Different from the listing here (no rattlesnake):
