Description of problem:
The out_of_range request param is meant to be used to filter returned results by whether the returned observation is within that taxon’s geographical range (if one exists). However, currently, using the out_of_range param in an API request seems to always return no results. In the images above, I’m requesting observations which are birds (Aves). With out_of_range=true or out_of_range=false, nothing is returned; omitting the param entirely returns results as per usual.
Step 1: Send API query with out_of_range param set
Step 2: Receive 0 results back
Step 3: Remove out_of_range from query
Step 4: Query functions as normal
