Observations show as both Casual and Needs ID

Step 1: Open the Observations tab and recent additions appear as casual

Step 2: Click on an observation and they show as Needs ID

Step 3: Try to edit the observation or add notations and edits don’t take. The nuthin mole shows up in some cases

In my experience, it sometimes takes the display on the explore tab a few minutes to “catch up” to recent changes to the observations.

Explore results can be cached up for up to 15 minutes or so. So brand new changes may not be reflected in Explore for a bit.

OK, it’s not showing as casual anymore but it still won’t let me annotate the observation. I’ve done hard reboots. Still an issue.

The linked observation shows up as annotated to me. Maybe a local browser caching issue?

Must be. Something new.

Maybe related to me trying to do some stuff using batch editing. I would have thought that rebooting would solve it, if that were the case.

Maybe just my battered relic of a computer.
