What’s going on with taxa page which show “no observations” but shows several on the map including research grade observations. I have noticed this a few times at least. Like this one: https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/358560-Macromia-clio
you haven’t provided enough information for others to really see what you see. probably you’ve just set a place filter on the taxon page, but it’s not possible to know for sure since you haven’t provided any screenshots of what you see.

I see what you’re indicating. The summary might lead one to believe no sightings have happened, but the map shows several in and near China.
Check to see if you have your species pages are set to “Filter by Place”. That filter applies to the display of stats below it (Top Observer, Top Identifier, etc.) but not to the Map tab. Delete any specific place name on that filter to return to viewing the stats for all observations.
