Option to have project that includes observations with photos and/or sound, but not neither

Description of need:
When creating a project and filtering observations by media, there needs to be a way to include observations that include a photo, sound, or both, but not neither.

I would like my project to include observations that have photos, sound, or both, but not neither. The options to choose from are currently: [Any|Has Sound|Has Photo|Has Both Photo and Sound]. Unfortunately, selecting “Any” includes observations that include no media at all (I’m actually unsure if that’s a bug or just something not made available).

Feature request details:
I believe this feature could be implemented by including one more option in the list of media filtering options - “Has Sound and/or Photo”.

Of course, that may be confusing to people who believe “Any” would cover that option, however presently “Any” includes observations without media, which I would like to exclude from the project.

Observations without sound or photo are casual, so you could just exclude casual observations.

But that would exclude other observations, for example if they are not wild. I don’t know if this is a problem for @midimatt , but it might be.

True. At present there are 4 casual observations in their project. 3 have no photos so would be excluded by the request. The remaining one is a plant that has been marked as cultivated but described as invasive so I don’t know if they want that in their project or not or if it was actually a cultivated plant or not. But it is the only one that would be affected by changing the project rules to exclude casual observations.

The fact that “photo and sound” is a distinct option makes me think maybe checking “photo” and “sound” might have or logic. But maybe that’s just another way to require both.

I do want casual observations included, however I don’t want to include observations that are virtually usless (e.g., contain no media and have a “something” identification). The suggestion to omit casual observations might be the best course of action until there is a way to omit observations without media. In the long term, though, there could be lots of casual observations that I wouldn’t want to omit.

I discovered this issue when I clicked on an observation in the map, and it showed up without a photo and without an identification. It’s not really something I want to show up there because it’s useless data. One could, in theory, destroy a project’s quality by placing lots of similar useless observations in the project area - intentionally or unintentionally.

Unfortunately the option uses a radio element rather than a checkbox element, so only one option may be selected (i.e., I cannot select both “Has Sound” and “Has Photo” to include all observations that include either sound or photo).
