Physiology and anatomy of the human - book recommendations?

I would like to fill the big gaps in my knowledge about human physiology and anatomy. Could you suggest some good concise book(s) for self study that don’t have any prerequisites?

You could just try getting an older used textbook. Most of intro human A&P is pretty consistent over the past 10 years, so an older cheaper version is fine. You could also look at the OpenStax texts for Intro Bio and A&P (free).
Intro Bio: https://openstax.org/details/books/biology-2e
A&P: https://openstax.org/details/books/anatomy-and-physiology-2e

between the two you should be pretty good.
