In April 2025 I found the rare pink/red Katydid in Tokoroa in my garden on a plant with dark red leaves.

Bug report is to report problems with using iNat.
Bug as an insect is simply an iNat observation, not for the Forum.

Also the coolest looking katydid I’ve ever seen - I didn’t know they came in pink!
but yes, please do post it to the regular iNaturalist site. I suspect you’ll have a bunch of confirming IDs quickly.

Not a bug. Bugs are in the order Hemiptera; katydids are Orthoptera.
