Printed project maps

I would like to download & print (>8.5 x 11) maps showing selected observations (e.g. threatened species, introduced species, etc.) within a project boundry. Screen shot is not acceptable resolution. Ideas?

download csv, convert to kml/kmz - load in Google Earth - export map

or

use GIS

Not sure exactly what you’re looking for, but have a read of this thread and see if it works for you - https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/inaturalist-import-v2-0-0-a-qgis-plugin-for-field-naturalists/74611

Take a look at this post:

Could screenshot resolution be made acceptable, by upscaling using Topaz or similar software? NB: I wouldn’t advocate this approach for observation photos, but I’d expect maps to stay useablly accurate.

With a high resolution monitor, a screenshot should be pretty solid detail for a home printer (can be 300 dpi or greater). If you’re looking for better quality than that, downloading the data and working with it in 3rd party software is probably the best approach.
