Project owner unable to add obscured taxa to Location-specific project

I’m new to projects so please forgive me if this has already been discussed, but I’m having some trouble setting this up the way I’d hoped it’d be.

This project ( https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/quadrant-scrub ) is intended to document all of the life observed in a relatively small geofenced area of “vacant” land. The nature of this habitat means that much of what will be documented here will be automatically obscured due to their being U.S. federally listed species. This is fine, but for my purposes I want to know what’s on the property even if it’s only visible to myself and those invited.

The issue I’m running into is that others’ observations of obscured taxa are correctly being added to the project (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/344685318), whereas my own personal observations ( https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/344766191 ) are not and it’s not allowing me to manually add them to the project.

Is there a setting I’m missing or a workaround that the community might recommend?

so it’s a little counterintuitive, but when you create a collection project, you still need to manually give the admin (which is you…) permission to access true coordinates of obscured records, it doesn’t just happen automatically

if you go to the members list for your project, you can check and see you aren’t giving the project/yourself permission currently:

so to update this, on your project homepage, click this ‘Your Membership’ button:

and then in the pop-up you can adjust the permissions:

that’s super helpful thanks a ton! it does seem counterintuitive but i can understand why things are a bit cagey around obscuration.
