my terrarium includes several detrituvorous invertebrates and I was wondering if they ate the cat food.
Detritivores will eat basically any matter that’s starting to decompose, so probably. Can you give examples of what organisms you have? I know isopods will probably feed on it.
I have pill bugs, Julidae, Glomeris, polydesmida, cockroaches, and mealworms (but it’s been a while since I’ve seen these last two organisms).
They will all probably eat moistened dry cat food readily.
