Question on ORCID IDs and exports to GBIF

If I connect my iNat account with ORCID, will then my observations which have already been exported to GBIF updated with “recorded by ID”?

Yes, that’s how it should work. GBIF gets updated data from iNat every week, so it will take at least that long for a change like that to be visible.

I have to ask, how do you link your iNat account to your ORCID?

Go to your “Account Settings”, then to “Applications”. There you can connect to ORCID and several social media accounts.
